Part-Time Nurse Practitioner Needed for Employee Health Clinic in Hanover, PA

The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice. Minimum Requirements:Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the Pennsylvania stateCertification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners - AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC) is requiredActive and unrestricted DEA requiredMinimum one year as an FNP in a primary care outpatient setting required; minimum 2-3 years highly preferredCurrent BLS neededMust be comfortable with and have experience with well woman exams and relevant proceduresTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
