Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)Locations: PAPosition Type: Independent Contractor / 1099Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our dynamic team providing high-quality emergency care across two locations in Central PA.Position Highlights:12-hour shifts: 7 AM 7 PM or 7 PM 7 AMFlexible scheduling with the expectation to cover day/night shift times based on departmental needsMid Level Coverage: 12 Hours Dailly of APP SupportCollaborative environment: Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and sign off on APP casesNo vent management requiredAnnual ED volume: 19,000 visitsDaily patient volume: 5124-hour physician coverage with 12-hour APP coverage dailyStroke Certified FacilityAll admissions are coordinated through Hospitalist and Specialty GroupsRequirements:Completion of an Emergency Medicine ResidencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency MedicineA minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experienceATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS not required if Board Certification requirements are met
