Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Estimator to join our growing mechanical construction team. The ideal candidate brings strong public works estimating experience, advanced knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical piping, and the ability to confidently manage the full estimating process from bid review to project handoff.Our ideal team member is someone who is:Punctual and dependableProfessional with a positive attitudeDetail-oriented with strong analytical thinkingOrganized with excellent planning skillsSkilled in negotiation and vendor communicationAble to work under pressure and meet strict bid deadlinesComfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partnersKey ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), project manuals, specifications, and mechanical drawingsAttend bid meetings and site walks to gather critical project informationPerform HVAC and mechanical piping take-offs using Trimble Autobid Estimating softwareSolicit and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricingObtain and verify material pricing from multiple vendorsAnalyze project scope to develop accurate and competitive estimatesMeet bid submission deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standardsMaintain organized bid documentation and estimating recordsQualificationsPrior Public Works estimating experience requiredStrong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal, and mechanical piping take-offsAbility to read and interpret project manuals, specifications, and construction drawingsExperience working with Trimble Autobid Estimating software preferredProficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skillsWhy Join Our TeamThis is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex mechanical construction projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.
