Job Title: Precision CNC Machining Specialist (Lathe & Mill Programming)Compensation: Up to $33/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMOvertime: Saturdays, 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM (approx. 56 hours/week)Employment Type: Contract to HirePosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled CNC Machining Specialist with programming experience to support the production of industrial-grade components and equipment. This role works closely with shop leadership and plays a key part in delivering high-precision machined parts in a fast-paced environment.Key DutiesInterpret machining blueprints and technical drawings to determine specificationsProgram, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machinesDevelop and edit G-code programs across various control systems (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain - experience with all not required)Hold tight tolerances up to 0.0005" while maintaining consistent qualityInspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gaugesEnsure parts meet required specifications and quality standardsFollow all safety procedures in a heavy industrial settingMaintain punctuality, reliability, and a strong professional approachHandle materials and components weighing up to 50 lbsSupport production needs, including scheduled overtimeRequired QualificationsHands-on experience with CNC machining and programmingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail with a focus on precision workFamiliarity with G-code programming principlesCommitment to maintaining a safe working environmentWork Environment & Schedule1st shift position with consistent overtime opportunitiesFast-paced, production-driven machining environmentCollaborative team setting with direct reporting to shop leadershipWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
