Pay: Starting at $27.00 per hour and up based on experienceSchedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PMOvertime: Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM (average 56 hours per week)Job Type: Contract to HireOverviewA well-established manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Machinist to join their team. This position focuses on programming, setup, and machining of precision components used in industrial applications. You will work closely with shop leadership to ensure high-quality output in a production-driven environment.What You Will DoRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining requirementsProgram, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machinesCreate and modify G-code using various control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, Fagor, or HeidenhainMachine parts to tight tolerances up to 0.0005 inch while maintaining consistencyPerform inspections using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and bore gaugesVerify that completed parts meet specifications and quality expectationsFollow established safety practices in an industrial shop environmentMaintain reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethicHandle materials up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasksSupport production demands, including overtime as scheduledWhat We Are Looking ForProven experience in CNC machining with programming responsibilitiesAbility to understand and work from engineering drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to precision workWorking knowledge of G-code programmingDedication to workplace safety and quality standardsWork EnvironmentFirst shift role with consistent overtime availableFast-paced machining and production settingTeam-oriented environment with direct interaction with shop supervisorsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
