Job Title: CNC Machining Specialist (Programming & Setup)Pay: Up to $33/hour (based on experience)Shift: Day Shift (1st Shift)Employment Type: Contract-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled CNC Machining Specialist with programming experience to support the production of industrial components and equipment. This position works closely with shop leadership and plays a key role in delivering high-precision parts.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and work from detailed machining blueprints and technical drawingsProgram, set up, and run CNC lathes and milling machinesEnsure parts meet tight tolerances (as precise as 0.0005")Develop and edit programs using G-code across various controls (such as Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain; experience with all is not required)Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to verify accuracyMaintain consistent quality and output standardsFollow all safety guidelines within a manufacturing environmentMaintain punctuality and a strong work ethicHandle materials up to 50 lbs when necessaryBe available for required work hours, including occasional weekend shiftsQualificationsHands-on experience with CNC machining, including programming and machine operationAbility to read and understand technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to precision workSafety-focused mindset in an industrial settingWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
