Within 75 milesDescription:Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in Lancaster, PA and provide end-user support. This position will require overnight travel from Sunday - Thursday. Onsite at client location during normal business hours with travel overnight. OT may be required. Requires a valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant), clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle.Duties and Responsibilities:Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locationsDuties may include replacing printer parts, paper feed, power supply, changing the print head, changing toner drum, transfer belt, image unitPerform complex upgrades and troubleshooting of printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systemsProvide on-site technical support to internal or external customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipmentInstall and remove equipment and systems as requiredResponsible for day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact on technical and service-related problemEnsure that all schedules, transmission, on-line systems, and problems are resolved in an accurate and timely mannerServe as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processesDetermine the most cost-effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtimeSkills and Qualifications:Minimum 2 to 3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers requiredMust be able to do extensive traveling via plane and / or carMust have commercial / large printer experience; Lexmark printer certification nice to haveExperience working on commercial printers and have an electronics / mechanical aptitudeWorking knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases and network security concepts and tools is requiredWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite including MS OutlookExperience with multi-platform Windows O/S requiredWorking knowledge of Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing experience, ability to troubleshoot system connectivity, Windows configurationAbility to work independently in a retail environmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Excellent customer service skills and professionalismAble to communicate effectively both written and verbally with key stakeholders, leadership, partners, team members, other organizations, and customersAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and qualityDemonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
