Key Account Manager
Job Description:Develops and maintains strong relationships at the corporate levelPrepares sales strategies designed to grow our business in each assigned accountPrepares annual sales forecasts for each assigned accountMonitors and manages program complianceIdentifies new regional and/or emerging chain opportunities applicable for Duckhorn Portfolio and secure meetings for introductory presentations.Works closely with Senior Director on account strategies to optimize PODs.Works with TDP sales team to drive execution at the local levelWorks with key wholesaler national accounts & regional teams to identify and secure sales opportunitiesWorks closely with Trade Marketing, Brand and Sales Analytics to create programs & presentations that drive sales in assigned accountsRequirements:Must have experience working in the on-premise channel either as a supplier or wholesalerMust have a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityMinimum 4 years' experience in wine related fieldMust be proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point and ExcelExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to be in the market 80% of the time, defined as time out of the home office, visiting accounts and hosting events.Must be a team-oriented person, willing to work closely and transparently with othersMust be willing to travel as needed to perform the job at the highest levelMust possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.Benefits:Health benefits for you and your family, including medical/dental/vision (with a competitively priced employee contribution to premium), and disability, life, and pet insurance.Paid time off and 11 paid holidays.401(k) plan where we invest 10% of your wages every year for your retirement at no cost to you, subject to management discretion.A diverse team of coworkers that care about each other in a fun, exciting work environment.A company that promotes from within, provides great training, and a generous tuition reimbursement program.
