Sr. Java Developer

Java Developer Our client is looking for a senior Java developer who enjoys data and building data storage platforms from ground up using microservices architecture. Our ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis, technology and helping people leverage the technology to transform their business processes and analytics. As a junior developer, you are part of a team that supports a wide variety of internal customers. You will analyze, design, and develop data storage and data analytic solutions using data lake patterns, that help our customers run more effective operations and make better business decisions. Our client is located in McLean, Virginia (Hybrid). Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. - 6+ years of experience in Core Java programming. - 6+ years of experience in Spring boot, Hibernate, Docker, Rest. - Proficient in data structure, algorithm, object-oriented design and multithreading. - Experience in basic database design including SQL database or NoSQL databases. - Basic knowledge about design patterns. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Agile methodologies. - Experience in Web Application development. - Knowledge in distributed system design. - Experience in Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure or similar. - Experience in Devops and related tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitLab and shell script.
