Java Application Developer
Overview:
In this role you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for a government client, contributing within an Agile team. You’ll collaborate across teams to meet mission-critical needs, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously learn new technologies. The position blends hands-on development with process improvements in a hybrid on-site/remote environment. You will help drive scalable, reliable software in a security-minded setting.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applicationsActive Agile team participation with Jira task updatesTroubleshoot issues in production and non-production systemsLearn new technical skills to meet project needs
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of Java experienceExperience with Spring and Spring BootExperience in Agile environments using JiraExperience relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Experience writing automated unit tests (JUnit)
