🎵 Freelance Clarinetist +Hybrid Operations (Part-Time, Remote, $20/hr + Bonuses)

Our dedication to craftsmanship makes us a trusted resource for clarinetists in professional orchestras, military ensembles, and educational institutions.The Role  We are seeking a part-time freelance clarinetist who understands the instrument and the life of a working musician. You will work 20-25 hours per week, 5 days a week ( we are open Mon-Sat) splitting your time between our Downers Grove shop and remote work.Your Responsibilities  - Process customer orders with precision and care.-Assist with purchasing and order preparation. - Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews with prospects for the Working Musicians Academy.- Manage communications for musician onboarding.- Provide occasional direct customer support.-Ocassionally test instruments- Collaborate with our team using tools such as Basecamp, ClickUp, Zoho, Teams, High Level, Zoom, and Grasshopper.Who You Are  - A skilled communicator: You can explain concepts clearly and are a good listener.-You are healthy, happy, and wanting to grow in life.-You won't be missing work every other week for gigs or exhaustion because you have a schedule that you can make work for both of us. - Proficient with digital tools and platforms.- Reliable: You consistently follow through on commitments.- An understanding collaborator: You appreciate the realities of being a working musician and can thrive in both musical and operational capacities.- Passionate about our mission to revolutionize music education and instrument repair.Why This Role?  This isn't a typical administrative job.
