Piedmont Crossing is a premier retirement community located in the picturesque Davidson County, North Carolina. We offer a blend of small-town charm and access to the amenities of nearby cities like Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem.CookThe Cook assists in preparation of foods for residents and personnel; participates in supervision and instruction of Food Service Aides on their shifts; maintains high standards of sanitation and food handling in their work area.Minimal Education:High school diploma or G.E.D. required.Minimal Experience:1. Six months food preparation experience in a hospital, institutional or restaurant preferred.2. Experience in long term care or health care is preferred.Other Qualifications:1. Certification as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager preferred.2. Ability to read and follow recipes, ability to write, add and subtract.3. Must have good organization skills and be creative.
