Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a driven Project Manager to take ownership of a full-cycle construction project from early planning through final closeout. This role is hands-on and field-focused, requiring someone who can confidently lead operations while navigating complex public-sector requirements.Oversee daily construction activities from pre-construction through project completion, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and on-site executionAct as the primary liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and multiple public agencies to keep the project moving efficientlyEnsure full compliance with all applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and environmental regulationsManage procurement processes, submittals, RFIs, and documentation to maintain project flow and accountabilityMaintain and update project schedules using industry-standard tools, ensuring milestones and deadlines are metTrack budgets, review and approve change orders, and provide accurate progress reporting to stakeholdersLead job site safety efforts, enforce compliance standards, and promote a culture of accountabilityCoordinate quality control and ensure all deliverables meet established project and regulatory standardsRequirements: We’re looking for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and understands the demands of public-sector projects.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field7–10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on vertical buildsAt least 3 years of experience managing public works projectsProven experience working with government agencies and navigating multi-agency coordinationStrong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and environmental compliance standardsProficiency with project management and construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or BluebeamOSHA 30-Hour certification requiredPMP or CCM certification is a plusStrong leadership skills with the ability to solve problems in the field, manage competing priorities, and keep teams aligned
