GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not guaranteed compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as a discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards. Senior Project Engineer The Senior Project Engineer is a key member of the Project Engineering team, supporting the PTS Sanitary Department in the successful and timely execution of assigned projects as well as mentoring and development of junior engineers. This role is responsible for supporting and/or leading projects by delivering efficient engineering design and execution that maintains or improves contract profitability while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Projects may involve a variety of technologies, including spray drying, powder handling, and evaporation systems. In addition, the Senior Project Engineer may serve as the Project Manager on select projects, with responsibility for scope, schedule, and execution. This role is based at our Hudson WI facility and offers a hybrid work schedule with one day per week remote. Profile and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills Highly self-motivated, proactive, and decisive, with strong commercial and business acumen Demonstrated sales awareness and customer-focused mindset Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities appropriately Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools Recognized as a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of processes, products, and engineering principles Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% Your Profile / Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar engineering or project-focused role Proven experience with sanitary fabrication design Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as required At GEA, we dont just offer jobs, we offer opportunities to thrive, grow, and make an impact. #engineeringforthebetter Please note: This position is based in the United States and does not offer visa or work sponsorship.
