The ICU RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, utilizing advanced clinical expertise, continuous monitoring, and rapid response interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill ICU patients Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and hemodynamic status Operate advanced life support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps Administer medications, including IV drips and titratable medications Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care progression Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NE or compact state) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required Strong knowledge of critical care protocols and patient management Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills About United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?
