Senior Project Manager - Owners Representative (Data Centers) Location:Chicago(2 weeks onsite / 1 week remote rotation) Employment Type:Full-time About the Company Our client is a leading provider of mission?critical data center solutions, supporting enterprise and hyperscale operators across the full lifecycle of their facilities. With a strong national footprint and a rapidly expanding development pipeline across the Central US region, they are growing their project delivery team. Due to increased demand and several new large?scale builds, they are seeking an experiencedSenior Project Manager - Owners Representativeto oversee multiple concurrent data center construction projects. This role is ideal for a driven, highly technical leader who thrives in complex, fast?paced environments. Key Responsibilities As the Senior Project Manager, you will act as the primary onsite representative for the Owner, ensuring seamless execution across all project phases. Responsibilities include: Overseeing multiple simultaneous data center projects (greenfield, brownfield, and fit?out builds). Ensuring full control of cost, schedule, quality, and documentation. Managing engineering firms, general contractors, and commissioning teams. Leading coordination across design, construction, commissioning, controls, networking, and security. Monitoring construction progress, risks, forecasting, and executive?level reporting. Managing change orders, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with client expectations. Providing constructability input for electrical and mechanical designs. Supporting integrated testing and commissioning. Coaching and mentoring junior team members. Acting as the onsite liaison for all Owner?level decisions and direction. What Youll Bring To be successful in this role, you should have: 6+ years of project management experience. Background in mission?critical or large?scale construction (required). Data center experience (preferred). Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret design drawings and manage complex technical workflows. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD/Visio, BlueBeam, Procore. A proactive, solutions?focused mindset with strong communication skills. Flexibility to work atwo?weeks onsite / one?week remoterotation schedule. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Why Join?
