Their carefully curated line of brands provide belts, wallets, and other goods.About The RoleWe are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the team and help manage the organization’s procurement needs. Procurement Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.Duties And ResponsibilitiesFind new factories, and source/procure new and existing product categories. Prepare proposals, request quotes and details for new and existing product categories.Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts (pricing, terms, etc.), and manage supplier relationships. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns. Weekly report to the Vice President weekly on status of production/factory/sourcing issues.Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals, industry and demand trends. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and provide support.Maintain accurate records of factory and product details, pricing, and other important data.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, as well as customer requirements.Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings (quality control).Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.Requirements2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or logistics positions.Be collaborative, respectful, flexible, knowledgeable, growth oriented, and customer service driven. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.Proven experience in sourcing and executing new product categories.Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Take your career to the next level and apply now !!
