With ambitious plans for national expansion, they foster a culture of innovation, purpose, and collaborative growth.The RoleOur Client is seeking a highly organized Purchasing Agent to play a critical role in overseeing the investments and construction teams' procurement needs. This position is responsible for ensuring that all necessary renovation supplies are ordered and delivered on time, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating for the best pricing and quality. The successful candidate will act as a central coordinator, calculating material quantities from residential plans and managing the logistics of four distinct construction phases to keep projects moving forward without disruption.Key Responsibilities Procurement & Material ManagementEnsures that all materials for the four phases of renovation (Rough Materials, Phase I, II, and III Buyouts) are ordered and tracked in a timely manner.Calculates precise material quantities based on internal residential plans to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.Coordinates directly with interior designers and field project managers to determine specific material needs and project timelines.Monitors and manages material budgets, ensuring all purchases are properly documented and remain within financial constraints.Logistics & Vendor RelationsSources and evaluates potential vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to secure the best deals without compromising quality.Arranges drop shipments and deliveries to specific project addresses, ensuring all orders are timely and accurate.Monitors and tracks shipments, promptly resolving any issues or delays with suppliers to minimize project disruptions.Maintains positive, long-term relationships with existing vendors and identifies cost-saving opportunities to reduce overall expenses.Reporting & Quality ControlProvides detailed shipment information to the field team and designers for quality control checks upon delivery.Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and material documentation for all active projects.Prepares regular reports on purchasing activities, expenses, and vendor performance to assist with financial planning.Required QualificationsEducation: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.Technical Skills: High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with an emphasis on data management in Excel.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, terminology, and the various stages of residential building.Communication: Strong negotiation skills and excellent verbal/written English communication to interface with U.S.-based vendors and internal stakeholders.Traits: High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks (80 hours) of PTO annually, accrued monthly.Paid Holidays: Eligibility for nine (9) paid U.S. holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.Stability: Stable, full-time remote contract with a consistent monthly workload.Growth: Opportunity to work within a high-growth company at the forefront of the real estate investment and life transition service industry.
