This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, including responsibilities in a Level 3 trauma center. The position includes weekend shifts every other weekend, and the selected candidate will be required to float to the Emergency Room (ER) when necessary. Key Responsibilities Deliver acute care to patients, managing critical medications including gtts and drips. Comfortably administer BiPAP and manage critical care gtts. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of previous Med Surg or Stepdown experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Active state nursing license in Iowa is required, with the ability to apply for an Illinois license upon job offer. Current certifications in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS.
