Research Principal Fellow (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Research Principal Fellow (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $189,600 – $284,400 annuallyResponsibilities Develop and execute a strategic innovation roadmap for biology initiatives Drive strategic initiatives across different business units Scout and evaluate potential innovations in life sciences Promote a culture of creativity and collaboration within teams Partner with M Ventures to identify early-stage startup opportunities Collaborate with strategy teams to shape technology visions Support M&A due diligence and technology evaluation processes Facilitate the transition of innovations into research and commercialization pipelinesQualifications Ph.D. in a relevant life science field (e.g., Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Multiomics) 10+ years of experience in life sciences and innovation leadership Expertise in 'Nextgen Biology' and multiomics applications Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagementBenefits Health insurance coverage Paid time off (PTO) for work-life balance Retirement contributions Opportunity for performance-based bonuses Travel benefits (up to 20%) included in the roleOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
