We partner with leading biopharmaceutical companies to advance transformative therapies from discovery through preclinical development.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist (Contractor) in San Diego to support our in vitro platform, contributing to cutting-edge projects that enable next-generation drug discovery.Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on execution, design, and troubleshooting of functional cell-based assays to support diverse therapeutic programs.Develop and run novel in vitro platforms tailored to specific project needs.Analyze complex data sets with a high degree of precision and maintain meticulous laboratory documentation.Communicate with clients efficiently and ensure their project needs are fully met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliver high-impact data.QualificationsPh.D. in Immunology or a related life science field with 0-2 years of industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry laboratory experience.Demonstrated hands-on experience with cell cultures and primary cell culture handling.Extensive hands-on expertise developing and running in vitro cell-based assays (e.g., immune cell assays, co-culture, etc.).Strong technical expertise in multi-color flow cytometry, MSD, ELISA and other advanced cell culture techniques.Proven ability to guide, train, and oversee junior scientific staff.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while driving multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Must be a strong team player.
