You will be responsible for designing, executing and analyzing complex sequencing-based workflows that will directly contribute to our product development. This role requires a strong bench scientist who can operate independently, manage priorities, and ensure high standards for data quality, documentation, and execution in the lab and across projects.What We Look ForWe’re looking for someone who brings both scientific depth and strong ownership to their work. Above all, you take accountability for outcomes and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute complex experimental lab workflows, including sequencing-based applicationsAnalyze data and communicate experimental findings Mentor junior scientists, providing technical guidance Ensure high-quality data generation, analysis, and interpretationEstablish, optimize, and scale laboratory protocols and workflowsMaintain rigorous documentation standards Collaborate cross-functionally to align R&D efforts with broader project goalsIdentify technical challenges and proactively implement solutionsMinimum RequirementsBS / MS / PhD + minimum 4 years industry experience Deep hands-on experience and knowledge of sequencing platforms and comfortable with other molecular biology techniquesStrong laboratory skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize experimentsExperience in an industry settingExperience analyzing viral, bacterial, or metagenomic NGS datasetsProficiency using data analysis tools to clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret complex biological datasets.Ability to generate clear visualizations, reports, and technical summaries that communicate complex data to scientific, operational, and non-technical audiences.Excellent organizational and project management skillsPreferred Capabilities & ExperienceFamiliarity with scaling lab processes and/or technology transfer Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in biotech or life sciences environmentsSequencing data analysis including genome assembly, variant analysis, taxonomic classification, phylogenetics, or genomic epidemiology.Experience developing reproducible analysis workflows, including appropriate quality control, documentation, metadata management, and data validation.
