This pivotal role involves overseeing research operations, preclinical and clinical development strategy, and ensuring scientific excellence and operational rigor across all programs. The successful candidate will also be tasked with prioritizing pipeline assets, leading R&D operations, and guiding the development of internal capabilities and external partnerships.Applicants for the CSO position at the company must have a PhD, PharmD, or MD in a relevant scientific discipline, with a preference for organic chemistry. A minimum of 10 years' progressive senior leadership experience in biotech or biopharma is required, with a proven track record of advancing programs through various stages of development. The role demands a deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks and experience in major submissions. The ideal candidate will have a history of managing complex scientific organizations, evaluating external innovation, and possess strong communication skills for representing the company in various settings.
