Together, we can make a meaningful impact.About the Role The System Engineer works with a team to design, implement, and maintain innovative and reliable services to maximize manufacturing production. The position has the primary responsibility of ensuring the smooth operation of the Manufacturing Execution System through configuration, monitoring, trouble shooting, and repair tasks.What You Will DoAnalyze large sets of dataEasily communicate complex ideas through clear written and verbal communicationMaintain vigilance and attention to detail during analysis to arrive at correct conclusionsIdentify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitabilityDevelop solutions, improvements, and related productsWork closely with colleagues, developers, testers, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfactionSupport users on change control and system updatesProvide end user training and documentationRemain up to date with technical and industry developmentsUtilize available monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify potential issues before they affect productionResearch and diagnose problems that cannot be immediately resolved, working with software, hardware, and AESC Global Support to open and resolve support cases as necessaryUse proper protocol for routine reporting of problems and concernsLog daily production calls, actions taken, observations made, and relevant pass-down informationParticipate in technical document creation and maintenance as is appropriateProvide off-hours support as necessary for system maintenance and downtime eventsTechnical Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the local Manufacturing Execution SystemTroubleshoot and resolve unexpected failures of server and network hardware/softwareResearch and analyze large data requests from business usersUtilize SQL to develop ad-hoc query's based on user requests and for required troubleshootingUpdate/Insert/Delete data in Oracle and MS SQL Server databasesAnalyze and troubleshoot business logic of various systems componentsProvide technical support to customers for hardware, software, and end user relatedQualificationsWhat You Need This position will involve design, configuration, and troubleshooting in a variety of technologies and services, including but not limited to the following.
