The nurse will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The registered nurse may be required to take up to 2 on-call shifts each month. The nurse may need to work one weekend shift every 4 weeks. Holiday availability is required, specifically for Christmas and New Year's. Candidates with 2 years of experience in an operating room are preferred. First-time travelers will be considered for this position. The role requires a valid RN license in South Carolina or a Compact RN license. BLS certification is required, and a radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred. Travelers should be advised of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. The facility operates a level-one, academic trauma center with 21 Operating Room suites covering various surgical specialties.
