Details Work setting is a hospital PACU and PreOp Care unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center Day shift schedule: 7:00am – 7:00pm 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license valid in NC Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process in a PACU/PreOp Care setting Duties include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and patient/family education Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and discharge planning Manager will personally screen all candidates for this position Drug screen results required — candidates should report to the lab within 24 hours of committing to the position American Traveler Job ID P-688072.
