Construction Project Engineer

Summary: Alan Stone Company Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with experience in heavy civil construction. Primary Responsibilities: -Analyze and understand Project Plans and Specifications. -Maintain accurate tracking of Task and quantities performed.-Accurately bill or approve progress for payments -Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections-Manage commercial and public DOT projects in OH and WV-Maintain relationships with owners, engineers, architects, vendors, and subcontractors-Coordinate, price and assist in settlement of change orders and claims-Ability to manage multiple projects-Monitor project schedules and costs-Knowledge of estimating, plans, specifications, scope of work, shop drawings, material submittals, purchase orders, and change orders-Ability to coordinate project plan with Superintendents and Foreman including organization of manpower, equipment, and materials Skills/Experience: -B.S. degree in construction management, engineering, or related field a plus-Minimum 3 years' experience managing commercial/ DOT or related work-Experience with concrete, water, storm, asphalt paving and sewer construction a plus-Computer literate:Use of Microsoft Office programs word, excel, project and outlook-Familiarity with Scheduling Software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)-Utilized construction estimating software (B2W / HCSS Software)-Understanding of and experience using cost and productivity data. Experience with Construction Accounting and cost tracking. -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals Benefits: Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K plan with match.
