Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesDignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a full-time Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix, ArizonaIn collaboration with the physician/medical director, assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse Practitioner's scope of practiceResponsible for delivering care to oncology patients admitted to St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) and patients who are seen by the DHCI Oncology ProgramWork in collaboration with the attending surgeonResponsible for performing new and established patient evaluations, performing procedures, reviewing pretreatment teaching,recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice and in collaboration with the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic SurgeonWork to be performed in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patientsJob RequirementsMaster's Degree in nursing required.
