Job Description
Location: US RemoteJOB OVERVIEW:The Inside Sales Associate Manager will develop and lead a high-performing inside sales team responsible for driving account service and product growth (Sales and GP $), expanding service and product customer penetration, and converting new customers. This role will oversee both inbound and outbound sales efforts, ensuring every customer interaction contributes to revenue, gross profit growth, and retention. The manager will coach and mentor a team of Direct Sales Representatives and Sr. Direct Sales Representatives, set sales strategies, and partner with marketing, MSO /operations, and leadership to execute growth campaigns. The Direct Sales Manager will also support Hayes Franchisee questions related to product and service training and mentoring.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Build, lead, motivate, and develop a team of Direct Sales Representatives and Sr. Direct Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targetsDesign and implement outbound sales campaigns to acquire new accounts and reactivate churned customersOversee inbound sales calls, ensuring customer inquiries are converted into sales opportunitiesDrive initiatives that maintain and grow ordering levels within assigned accounts while increasing product diversityCollaborate with marketing and MSO/operations to execute campaigns, follow up on leads, and track performancePartner with marketing to ensure sales messaging and customer education align with business prioritiesPromote and integrate eCommerce solutions into the sales process to increase digital ordering adoptionMonitor and report on sales metrics, pipeline health, and overall team performanceProvide regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to develop the skills of each team memberHelp represent the Sales team at trade shows and industry events, supporting lead generation and account developmentSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on developing talentStrategic thinker with hands-on execution skills for inbound and outbound sales campaignsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence teamsAnalytical mindset with the ability to track and optimize sales performance metricsConsultative selling expertise with an understanding of account growth and product diversification strategiesHighly organized, results-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player who thrives in a growth-focused, performance-driven cultureGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Strong management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performanceOutstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectivelyExcellent presentation and public speaking skillsExcellent independent decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skillsUnderstand and act on financial information that contributes to business profitabilityAbility to plan and manage successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget, assign tasks and areas of responsibilityLead team(s) to achieve company goals in creative and effective waysExcellent planning and organizational skills and techniquesCommunicate effectively with senior managementGood negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage outsourced relationshipsAbility to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities and manage conflictBroad professional and managerial skills with a good understanding of industry practices and company policies and proceduresAbility to lead virtual teamsMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:Typically, 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing a high-performing inside sales teamExperience with CRM platforms NetSuite, BC and Salesforce is preferredBackground in dental, medical device, or B2B healthcare industry is highly desirableExperience implementing or managing eCommerce-driven sales initiatives is a plusPREFERRED EDUCATION:Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline: Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
