DescriptionDescription:Our fabrication shops are tasked with producing a consistently high quality of product to the customer specification to ensure continued partnerships and on time delivery of expectations. Our fabrication positions range widely in the fabrication processes producing many products. Fabrication capabilities include but are not limited to: Residential/Commercial Ductwork, Welding, Shearing, Braking, Soldering, Rollfoarming, Ductboard fabrication, and Spiral Pipe.Job Specific Competencies:Productivity - Strives to consistently achieve excellence in performance and maintains focus in the face of obstaclesAdaptability - Changes approach when necessary to achieve goals and adjusts style as needed to the situation at handCooperation - Uses tact to maintain effective work relationships with coworkers and stakeholdersSense of Urgency - Prioritizes well, shows energy, reacts to opportunities, instills urgency in others, and meets deadlinesAttention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks with a sense of precisionResults Oriented - Maintains focus and perseveres in the face of obstacles and prioritizes tasks based on importancePosition Responsibilities:Treat all customers in a courteous professional mannerAssist customers and vendors with the loading and unloading of materialsPerform all job responsibilities in a safe responsible mannerUtilize all applicable safety and personal protective equipmentFabricate sheet metal products utilizing metal forming machines and equipmentUse of hand tools or power driven equipmentPrepare material for outbound shipmentsPrepare accurate daily paperwork when applicableMaintain equipment and a clean and organized work areaQualifications:Sheet Metal Fabrication experience is preferredAbility to prepare, de-burr, buff, grind and finish sheet metalKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication machinery and general equipment set-upAbility to read various measuring devicesKnowledge of safety equipment and procedures related to sheet metal fabricationAbility to positively interact with fellow workers and customersAbility to read/interpret basic blueprint outlines, engineering sketches and hand drawings as applicableExperience:Sheet metal: 1 year (Preferred)
