Welder - Fabricator / Machine Assembler

Job DescriptionWelder-Fabricator / Machine AssemblerWe are seeking a highly skilled Welder-Fabricator with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role within a single-location, single-shift operation focused on building large-scale industrial equipment from blueprint to final assembly.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret machine assembly blueprints and technical drawings (required)Plan, measure, fabricate, and assemble heavy steel plate and structural framesPerform MIG and Stick (SMAW) welding on structural members and thick plateExecute torch cutting, grinding, fitting, and layout workOperate overhead workstation cranes to position and align large componentsInstall and align mechanical components including electric motors, gear reducers, hydraulic systems, and pushbutton control stationsSupport full machine assembly with strong understanding of mechanical systems and basic electrical integrationMaintain safe work practices and effective team communicationWork overtime as needed (paid at 1.5x)Qualifications:5+ years of experience in industrial welding, fabrication, and machine assemblyProficient in blueprint reading, mechanical assembly, and heavy equipment fabricationExperience with hydraulic components, industrial motors, and automated machineryStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipWhat's Offered:Blue Cross health insuranceContributory 401(k)Life insurancePTO + 10 paid holidaysOngoing training and skill developmentStable, family-oriented work environmentPlease submit a resume for consideration.
