Senior Project Manager

Loeffler is seeking a highly detailed individual to join the construction team. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of selected projects, as well as supervising and monitoring on-site construction activities for a project. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager's primary function is oversight of assigned projects, developing new business, and leading the proposal process on designated pursuits. Additionally, duties include, but are not limited to:Project ManagementProvide oversight and management of multiple, large-scale complex projects from preconstruction through the closeout/warranty periodLead the Pre-Construction team with key activities and assignments, including estimatesForecast project financial status, maintain accurate financial reports monthly, and prepare monthly reviewsBe well-versed in AIA contractsProvide leadership and training to all assigned Project Managers and Project EngineersActively participate in industry organizations and eventsEstablish relationships with key clients to understand business needs and drive business development opportunitiesSuccessfully lead the RFP process for originated or assigned prospect targetsEducationRequires a bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field. Emphasis on estimating preferred.Skills, Abilities, Competencies, and ExperienceMinimum of 10+ years' full-in-charge project management experience required. K-12 project experience preferredProvide leadership, knowledge, and mentorship to project managers, assistant PM's, superintendents, and teams in the office and in the fieldDemonstrated advanced knowledge of contracts and legal understanding/acumenLeadership: Provides strong leadership, leads by example, skilled decision maker, motivator, and encouragerDemonstrated expertise in problem-solving, crisis management, and leadershipCommunication: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skillsProven strategic thinker: Works to establish and articulate vision, shows creativity when defining solutionsWorking knowledge Procore is desirableAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical requirements are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
