Project ManagerLocation: Arlington, TXIndustry: Ground-up Commercial ConstructionSalary Range: $115,000 – $125,000 + BonusPosition OverviewOur client is an established commercial general contractor with a long-standing presence in the market, known for delivering high-quality restaurant construction projects and expanding into larger retail and commercial builds.The Project Manager will play a critical role in overseeing multiple commercial construction projects, serving as the primary link between the field, office operations, and ownership. This role is well-suited for a hands-on, tech-savvy construction professional who enjoys balancing office leadership with active field involvement and is interested in long-term growth within a growing organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage 2–3 commercial construction projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeoutOversee and support Superintendents assigned to active projectsConduct regular jobsite visits to stay connected to field progress and issuesManage RFIs, submittals, and change orders using ProcoreCoordinate with architects, owners, engineers, and subcontractorsMonitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controlsAssist with bid reviews and pre-construction coordination as neededLead or participate in jobsite and project coordination meetingsEnsure accurate documentation and timely communication across all projectsSupport operational improvements as the company expands into larger commercial buildsRequired Qualifications5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial constructionExperience managing ground-up retail, church, steel, or metal building projects preferredWorking knowledge of Procore or similar construction management softwareProven ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyExperience overseeing Superintendents and coordinating subcontractor tradesStrong communication skills with owners, architects, and internal teamsAbility to balance office-based responsibilities with consistent field involvementSolid understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and project controlsPreferred Skills & TraitsExperience transitioning from restaurant or smaller commercial projects into larger retail buildsTech-savvy with comfort using modern construction software systemsLong-term mindset with interest in growth and leadership opportunitiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solvingPersonable and professional communication style
