The Esports Assistant Coach is responsible for helping with the organization, administration, and coaching of the Esports program, including supervising staff and student athletes.Duties:Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching "sport."Recruit sufficiently qualified student athletes.Effectively execute fundraising activities, including camps and clinics to help meet teams' financial goals.Monitor student athletes' academic progress and provide support.Scout and prepare team for competition.Comply with College, NJCAA, Region 15, and Mid-Hudson Conference rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate esports program.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:* Valid NY Driver's LicensePreferred Qualifications:* Associate degree or Bachelor's degree* At least two years of esports coaching experience at the high school level or at least two years of esports coaching at the collegiate level.Additional Information:Positions in the Athletics Department are employees of the Dutchess Community College Association.This position is based on a 12-month employment agreement at $1,000 - $3,000 per season.Dutchess Community College and DCC Association is an AA/EOE employer.
