Assistant Coach / Defensive Assistant (Football)

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Defensive Assistant. The selected individual will be responsible for assisting the defensive unit of the team, including practice and game planning. Additional responsibilities include aiding the defensive coordinator to develop a competitive NAIA football program within the Mid-South Conference on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. This position will help analyze performance and instruct student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition; observe players while they perform to determine need for individual or team improvement; and coach players individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques and fundamentals. This individual will assist in establishing and executing a team philosophy centered on growing student athletes spiritually, physically, intellectually, and professionally.
