Field Service Power Generation Technician
Job SummaryDiagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Henderson, CO).We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Completing repair activities on generators or componentsEngaging with customers in a courteous and professional mannerPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviceAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.Basic Diesel Engine experience.Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.DOT A current valid license is required for this role This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical 3 years driving experience This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device useFederal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of ageEducation, Licenses, CertificationsApprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionCurrent relevant electrical certificationLocally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.ExperienceBasic level field service work experienceIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation productsHigh Voltage/ Low Voltage experienceCustomer service experienceCompensation And Benefits BaseSalary rate commensurate with experience.
