Ford Mobile Field Service Technician
Ford Mobile Field Service TechnicianModel 1 Ford is looking for an experienced Ford Field Service Technician to support our customers directly at their locations. This role involves on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of vehicle platforms. We're seeking a technician who can work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing our team in the field.What You'll DoTravel to customer sites to perform service, repairs, and technical supportUse diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and complete necessary repairsConduct routine maintenance and detailed inspections following OEM and company guidelinesHandle light and medium-duty repair work, including:HVAC systemsElectrical and electronic componentsBrake, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systemsTransmission and transaxle repairsGas and diesel engine performanceComplete all paperwork, repair orders, and documentation accurately and promptlyAssess vehicles for potential warranty work, required maintenance, or upgrade optionsProvide customer instruction on proper operation and care of equipment when neededMaintain responsive communication and deliver a professional service experienceSafely operate shop and field equipment and maintain an organized work environmentConsistently meet or exceed an 85% efficiency ratingWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in an automotive repair environment (light or medium duty)Background or credentials in any of the following:Automotive (A1A9)Medium/Heavy Truck (T1T8)School Bus (S1S7)Transit Bus (H1H8)Ability to obtain a CDL with passenger and air brake endorsementsAbility to pass and maintain required ASE certificationsStrong diagnostic abilities and confidence working independentlyExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetLeadership qualities with the ability to mentor or train when neededReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.+Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight spacesAdept at handling tools and performing fine-motor tasksAbility to maintain CDL medical and driving qualificationsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on skill level and certificationsFull-time schedule with flexibilityHealth, dental, and medical coverage401(k) retirement planPaid vacationEmployee vehicle purchase programAdvancement opportunities and ongoing trainingStable, long-term career environmentSupportive, team-based workplaceAbout Model 1 FordModel 1 Ford is a family-owned dealership committed to delivering exceptional service and building long-standing customer relationships.
