Holiday Pay Opportunities to grow your careerShop Mechanic Hybrid responsibiltiesPerform repairs to customer vehicles and trailersPerform basic welding functionsInform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changesMonitor the profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; minimize warranty claims and re-work Determine problems and services by listening to customer’s descriptions of symptoms, clarifying description problems, conducting inspections, checking maintenance records, and examining service schedulesDiscuss repairs and findings with mechanics and documents accordinglyVerify warranty and service contract coverage by examining recordsObtain authorizations and produce estimates by costing materials, supplies, and laborShop Mechanic Hybrid Candidates Will HaveRelated experience as Service Writer or Lead Mechanic Knowledge of medium/heavy duty diesel trucks & trailers requiredComprehensive understanding of service operations in the truck industry Excellent customer serviceExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills requiredDemonstrated mechanical inclination and interest in the heavy-duty industryProven problem-solving skillsOrganized and has ability to multi-taskProficient with MS Office Suite products with ability to conduct basic tasks in ExcelTruckPro offers a stimulating workplace based on open collaboration, personal development and future opportunity.
