Assesses, plans and provides patient care in collaboration with the supervising physician. Provides comprehensive health assessment, medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions, and formulates a treatment plan. Diagnoses medical conditions. Plans and implements interventions. Conducts onboarding physicals/occupational assessments and assists in the pre-employment clearance process.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:* Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP): Required* Two years' relevant clinical experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: RequiredNurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredEssential Functions:Interviews patients, employees, and/or family members. Constructs comprehensive medical histories. Performs initial and periodic physical occupational assessments. Evaluates patient behavior and explores patient's interpretation of health needs. Works under the scope of practice of a nurse practitioner and as an agent of the physician.Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results. Provides treatment of patients as needed, including administering medications and/or vaccines and performing procedures. Works under the scope of practice of a nurse practitioner and as an agent of the physician.Writes order to increase, decrease, or change medication (subject to checking and medical consultation as indicated).Supervises other clinical staff and serves as a resource to RNs, LVN's and department staff as needed.Performs work in both in-person and virtual environments.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
