Human Resources Intern

From ensuring drafting ideas for performance appraisals & compliance needs to improving training materials and supporting benefits processes, no two days will be the same. We&#39;ll also tailor your experience to align with your professional goals-giving you the chance to focus on the areas of HR you&#39;re most interested in.This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you&#39;ll gain valuable insight into how HR supports both employees and organizational success. You&#39;ll leave with practical experience, a stronger resume, and a clearer sense of where you want to take your career in HR.Position Responsibilities:Provide insight into best practices in HR and support departmental innovation.Participate in the performance appraisal process by helping coordinate reviews, preparing evaluation materials, and tracking completion of appraisals.Assist in ensuring organizational compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws related to employee disciplinary actions.Update internal databases with candidate information and create new letters and templates that support human resource functions.Post, update, and remove job ads across job boards, careers pages, and social networks.Assist with benefits paperwork and help employees navigate processesDraft offer letters, coaching memos, and update hiring templatesPrepare HR-related reports as neededReview and distribute company policiesAssist in organizing company events and employee engagement activitiesSupport applicant interview scheduling and onboardingVerify new hires&#39; eligibility to work in the U.S.Education and ExperienceCurrently pursuing a bachelor&#39;s or master&#39;s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related fieldSkillsFamiliarity with HR concepts and employment processes (classroom or practical)Amazing Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and communication skillsFriendly, approachable personality with the ability to build positive relationshipsLeadership abilities and initiative to take on projectsBenefitsInternship credit available for eligible academic programsResume-building experience in HR Generalist functionsHands-on training and exposure to multiple areas of HROpportunity to customize your learning experience based on your career interestsUnpaid internshipThis internship description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role.
