The successful candidate will be a dynamic, innovative, and resourceful leader with a strong commitment to the mission and values of public higher education. The EVCAA will be responsible for the management, quality, development, coordination, evaluation, and promotion of all academic programs and courses. This includes overseeing faculty matters, program review, accreditation, and the assessment of academic achievement. The role also involves working closely with the Chancellor and other campus leaders to contribute to strategic priorities, strengthen academic excellence, and ensure the effective operation of the campus. Applicants for the EVCAA position at the company should hold an earned doctorate or other appropriate terminal degree, with a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service in higher education. A minimum of 3 years' of successful leadership experience in academic administration at the level of academic dean or higher is required, with a preference for candidates with 5 years' of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative leadership skills, and a proven track record of supporting an inclusive campus environment. Experience in areas such as grant initiatives, professional development, enrollment management, and curricular innovation is also highly valued.
