The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing academic excellence, student success, and community impact. This role involves leading a comprehensive portfolio that includes academic programs and planning, accreditation and assessment, faculty affairs and development, student success, the library, research and sponsored programs, academic budget planning, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, future-focused academic leader with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and creative activity, and the ability to foster a Culture of Care within the academic enterprise. As the Provost, the primary duties will be to provide leadership, vision, and operational stewardship for Academic Affairs, and to work in close partnership with the President and Cabinet to set academic priorities that align with institutional goals and resources. The role requires a leader who can galvanize a Culture of Care, expand career-connected learning, modernize the academic portfolio, and support the excellence of faculty and staff while advancing equitable outcomes for all students.
