Accounting Coordinator (AP / AR / Payroll Support)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support our finance team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll assistance. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and communicating with vendors and customers.This is a full-time, onsite role working closely with our Accounting Manager to help keep our financial records accurate and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableEnter and manage vendor invoices in Sage 50Prepare payment checks and reportsRespond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing issuesAccounts ReceivableEnter and send customer invoicesRecord daily payments (check, wire, cash, and other payments)Monitor and help collect outstanding invoicesBanking & ReconciliationPerform bank and credit card reconciliationsCollectionsSend customer statementsFollow up on overdue invoices via phone and emailPayroll SupportAssist the Accounting Manager with payroll preparationVerify overtime and PTO recordsAdministrative SupportMaintain organized financial files and recordsProvide occasional support for company events or seminarsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required1-3 years of accounting experience preferredStrong Excel and MS Office skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience with Sage 50 is a plusWork ScheduleMonday - Friday8:30 AM - 5:30 PM100% onsiteCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + bonusMileage reimbursementMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance401(k)Benefits begin after 90-day probation periodEqual Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
