The Shenandoah Regional Communication Center handles all emergency and law enforcement traffic for Shenandoah National Park, Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historic Park, Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park, George Washington's Birthplace National Monument and Thomas Stone National Historic Site. The center operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, even during emergencies such as major storms and wildfires.
