- This position will support to the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO), which is located in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) as an Energy Workforce and Equitable Access Analyst.
- The position will help HFTO address challenges associated with workforce development, job quality, and equitable access to careers in clean hydrogen.
- An ideal candidate is an organized multi-tasker and confident communicator who is passionate about addressing clean energy challenges and driving adoption of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
- Knowledge of the hydrogen workforce, its makeup, relevant worker organizations and how it can be made more representative of the U.S. workforce.
- Develop strategies to ensure all households including low-income and disadvantaged communities have access to the benefits of the hydrogen economy and work with stakeholders to build more equitable pathways to access training and employment in underserved communities.
