- The Broadlawns Medical Center campus includes an acute care hospital, primary and specialty care clinics, urgent care and emergency services, lab, radiology, dentistry, inpatient and outpatient mental health, crisis team, and community-based behavioral support services.
- Under general supervision of the Program Director, certifies eligibility of Program participants by determining nutritional risk for women who are pregnant I up to 6 months postpartum I breastfeeding up to 1year, as well as children from birth to age 5 years; provides and assures nutrition education to Program participants.
- Conducts any or all of the following procedures necessary for determining nutritional risk: measurement of length/height and weight, hemoglobin, completes required certification procedures in Focus (WIC software).
- Provides nutrition and health education in the areas of maternal and child health to WIC participants in accordance with Program guidelines.
- B.A./B.S. degree in foods and nutrition, dietetics, community nutrition, or closely related field OR RN current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing
