Provide health education to community-based organization staff, clients, and other community members, including information related to communicable disease and health inequities in cooperation with the Immunization Health Educator.

Provide immunization services to patients, including evaluation for qualifying indications, screening for precautions and contraindications to vaccination, vaccine administration, post-vaccination observation, and administration of emergency medication, when necessary, according to DOHMH instruction and non-patient specific (standing) orders.

Monitors the CDC website for updates, creates and updates Employee Health protocols, creates and maintains the Employee Health and Flu Clinic websites, counsels employees exposed to diseases, prepares various reports for committees and government agencies, and participates on Safety, Infection Control and Immunization Committees.
