MCR Health is looking for a Vice President of Family and Internal Medicine to lead our growing organization with over 35 geographically dispersed locations located in 3 counties. We are a Joint Commission, HRSA, and URAC accredited organization with active research grants. This individual should have a well-rounded background in overseeing providers (physicians, APRN, PA-C, etc..) in a large multi-specialty ambulatory setting. Experience working in an FQHC environment is a plus. MCR Health has 30+ sites with over 1,000 team members and 18 specialties and growing. This physician leader must bring experience in a similar-sized or larger organization in order to facilitate MCR's policies and programs effectively while working with urgency in a high growth and very fast paced company. This person must have experience interacting with their CEO and working directly with senior leaders, while also bringing a resume of demonstrated results positively impacting patient safety, quality of care, regulatory compliance, provider productivity, provider engagement, and operational outcomes. As part of this role, you will:<ul><li>Oversee, lead, and manage all Physician Leaders in the Family and Internal Medicine division.</li><li>Create strategic and operational plans to define, monitor, communicate, and optimize divisional performance, productivity, and revenue against established KPIs</li><li>Assure patient care meets Joint Commission (TJC) and HRSA requirements as well HEDIS quality measures.</li><li>Maintain a patient load to assure ongoing & current connections to our patients, medical workflows/processes, and the needs of the providers this role oversees.</li></ul> What you need to bring to this role:<ul><li>Current M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school required</li><li>Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine </li><li>Current FL professional license & DEA required (or the ability to obtain within 60 days)</li><li>Current BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification required</li><li>Current local hospital admission privileges required (or the ability to obtain within 60 days) </li><li>10+ years' experience working clinically as a physician required</li><li>5+ years' experience as a Medical Director or physician leader required</li><li>Strong background in Internal and Family Medicine required</li><li>5+ years' experience successfully working with HEDIS measures preferred</li><li>Executive presence that is polished in both personal appearance and interactions</li><li>Ability to lead, influence, and work collaboratively with others</li><li>Leadership courage & humility to drive outcomes that are best for the organization</li><li>Systems' thinking and process improvement mindset</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, projects, and demands with a sense of urgency and positivity</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships throughout all levels of the organization</li><li>Understands, demonstrates, and embraces healthcare's Triple Aim</li><li>Champions new initiatives, serves as a catalyst for change, and influences others to accept and embrace change</li></ul>**MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
