- Role Summary/Purpose This role will support GE Vernova Financial Services (FS) commercial, underwriting and portfolio teams in evaluating US and Global renewable, thermal and energy transition investments assets based on regulatory, legislative and market design dynamics, using a variety of tools including power market models such as GE MAPS and Plexos.
- The incumbent will assist in driving GE Vernova and FS strategic direction in the Energy Transition, including evaluation of transmission grid reliability, energy technologies (hydrogen, carbon capture, electrification, sustainable fuels, next gen storage and nuclear), market design standards and broader energy policy.
- Build emissions, hydrogen and carbon markets center of expertise across all industries, including fundamental analysis and forecasting of carbon markets, hydrogen markets and other climate policy
- Provide subject matter expertise and support in the review and assessment of relevant carbon, clean energy and sustainability policies, the analysis of the impacts for GE Vernova, and the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve desired policy goals.
