- The CNO works in collaboration with a wide range of people to ensure the quality and safe care delivery of all patients and role models with the highest level of professional accountability and professional development.
- The CNO also has oversight over nursing quality across the entire continuum of care.
- The CNO works to create an environment that empowers its nursing staff and allows them to provide the best possible patient care with the appropriate resources and support.
- Plans and coordinates with the CFO, utilizing the respective Nursing Leadership members for planning the budgeting requirements for personnel, supplies, and equipment.
